Making a Rustic Compost Bin System

With any agricultural system, soil life force is vital. Projects have been getting completed recently with the help from wwoofers and one was to construct a basic compost bin system. There has been some milling work done recently and it has produced materials for raised bed construction. Before we make the garden beds we first need to make compost to give growing potential. Wwoofers have also assisted with brush cutting the fence lines of the farm and also gathered a truck load of cow manure, compost gold.

For one and a half years I have been using a urinal collection system filled with sawdust out on the back landing. This urine soaks into the sawdust and assist with biomass as well as activating the compost. Finally it was full in time to use in the new compost.
